Keeping it tasty this week. My go to shredded chicken taco recipe. SO simple and delicious.
- 2-3 Chicken Breasts
- 1- Package of Frontera Chicken Taco Skillet Sauce (see image below)
- Juice from 1 lime
- Corn Tortillas
I'm not really a measurer when I cook, so this is a loose recipe! As is, it's gluten and dairy free, but you could always sub in flour tortillas and top with cheese or sour cream. The chicken breast go in the crock pot on low, (with the skillet sauce) for several hours. The chicken will just shred apart after cooking. Yum. Add everything else to make a slaw type topping. And load it all on the tortilla...or in a bowl and scoop with chips. So easy and delicious. The skillet sauce can be found at Whole Foods, and most other grocery stores.
